Well done to all today, some really good results against teams higher than us in their leagues in the Middlesex County Cup. Thank you to all the managers and parents at our home fixtures that helped make sure the playing of the last post and observing the minutes silence went as planned with all 4 pitches ready and respectful. A weekend to Remember. Read on for all the match reports…..

U12 whites lost v Chalfont today - 1 nil. It was a rusty performance but they did well to keep it to just the one goal.
Man of the match - Callum for his work up front today. Didnt get a goal but did a lot of hard work getting infront of the big defenders to try and turn. Worked hard today.

U8’s Played at Home to Harefield UTD Reds U8’s
We picked a later than normal kick off to ensure our goalkeeper was able to make it today. That said, whether the later time affected our performance or it just wasn’t meant to be our day, today saw us lose the game.
We started off slowly with the opposition securing 2 or 3 goals in the first period, but from then the team came out with a never give up attitude. That alone is enough for me, the fact that they continued to battle endlessly and created chances but unfortunately they just couldn’t get them in the net this week. There was some impressive foot work out there today which shows the improvement within the team. That combined with their work ethic again this week makes me very proud of each and everyone of them.
Player of the Match this week was awarded to our Goalkeeper Shea. Despite the scoreline he prevented it from being greater by pulling off some fantastic saves in the latter part of the match.
The whole team wore their poppies with pride this morning and observed the minutes silence before Kick Off.

U9 Colts played away to Sheen Lions Hoops,
Was a difficult game due to issues with oppositions team sheet before the game.
We started off like we have all season and dominated play, our keeper made a mistake in the second quarter letting the ball deflect off him to slip in to give the home team the lead. We kept our chins up and managed to pull one back to equalise 1 minute after we conceded the first.
3rd quarter our defence pushed up too much leaving the box open for the home team to put 2 more past us. It was a very physical game and several of the boys ended up on the grass in tears at times.
We did manage to pull one back but the home keeper pulled it back over the line and the ref said he didn't see it go in.
I spoke to the boys before the 4th quarter and asked them to leave it all on the pitch. However our finishing quality today was outdone by a brilliant keeper from the home team who was actually superb throughout the game pulling off some amazing saves and making brilliant passes (credit where it's due)
Sheen lions hoops clung on to the win.
Goal from Gabriel
Managers POTM - whole team for being strong minded when things weren't going our way and keep pushing through the bad and the pain, not giving up!
Parents POTM - The whole team for working together and motivating each other even though we felt like we were being cheated throughout the game.
Really proud of how the boys held their composure and how calm they were throughout the game, how they didn't want to walk away and wanted to play and see what this challenge could teach them. Come on you COLTS!!🔴⚪

U10s - Veni Vidi Vici Sandgate FC
We came. We saw. We Conquered!!!!
Carlshalton managers huffed and puffed and shouted and shouted some more… to lose at home.
Masterful performance by the team summed up by an excellent performance from Hussain our motm who finished an excellent team goal.
Alfie ball in full effect throughout and switching players at will to change the tempo of the game constantly… Alfie with a few instructions from the sidelines with Vinnie giving his brother the wink and gun and winning his tackles at will.
Team are gelling and onto the next one. Come on Sandgate FC!!!

U10 Colts played away to Singh Sabha Lions today and we had an amazing match. Controlled the first half by going a goal up from Hussain and holding the lead throughout. After half time we conceded a goal and it was all levelled.
The boys passion and hunger grew and saw us score two more goals by Hussain (second hat trick in two matches). The Colts are now learning the passing and moving really works.
Great to secure the win, well deserved for all the team.
MOTM goes to Mohammed, without his defending alongside Alvin the win would have been a massive loss.

U11 away at F.C Cippenham well today….. what a game, we started fantastically holding position dominating ball possesion with two new starters kiana and Amir showing great initiative. Sandgate took the lead with a goal from Blake followed by a quick second goal by Samrath Before half time.
Following our 2 goal lead, we made changes with player positions, moving Vinny into midfield and strengthening midfield which played out really well, allowing us to set up some great attacks with Robin and Blake up front.
All players played exceptionally, and the team deserved the win. Really difficult to award player of the match, but with his dedication in midfield attack set ups and a goal P.O.T.M was awarded to samrath

U12 won 4-3 against Rayners Park
Great start with the boys going 4-0 up in the first 25 mins, but after a couple of changes we conceded 2 quick goals before half time
Regroup at half time and a great defensive performance in the 2nd half and we held on to a 4-3 lead
Goals from: Dylan x2, Henry x1, Nelson x1
Man of the match Nelson for a great defensive performance and a cracking Goal
Massive thank you to Kayden and Ruben for going in goal after Johnny broke is Elbow last week
We go again next week in the county cup âš½ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ†

U12Colts (Div 7) faced Met Police Reds (Div 1) in the second round of the Surrey League Cup.
To mitigate a total whitewash, Met Police agreed to play the match with sportsmanship and fairness and we set up for a 9 v 11.
Despite the extra players we struggled to contain them and found ourselves a little overwhelmed and 6-0 down at half time.
Met Police suggested they remove a player, so we started the 2nd half at 8 v 11 and the boys were spurred on, but still couldn’t quite find the breakthrough they deserved.
Final score 10-0 loss.
Several positives to take away, the boys never gave up, even in the dying minutes they were pressing and trying to create chances. Mo was a rock in the midfield adding the physicality that has been missing last few weeks. Louie worked his socks off again, and Riley made some great saves.
But, today’s PotM went to Mason who worked non stop box to box, made some great link up passes and played with passion and heart.
Tough day, but a good learning experience.
Huge thanks to Met Police for their sportsmanship, we wish them the best of luck in the next round.

U13 played Twickenham Tigers in the county cup, we were on the front foot from the get go and played some great football, great defensive display giving us our 2nd clean sheet in a row and scoring some great goals from some great play throughout the team.
Final score 4-0
Goals: Yuvi (3) , Zac
Mom Alfie Ndinguri for a solid defensive display and Yuvi for a great centre forward display and a hatrick.

U13 Reds played Ickenham Youth Blues in the Middlesex county trophy.
A very one sided affair saw us win 11-0 and move into the last 16.
Goals from: Saifan 2, OG, Jenson 2, Suraj, Izaan, Malek, Frankie 3
MOM went to Frankie for keeping a clean sheet then a stint up front where he scored a hat trick.
-----------
U14s played away to a really good well regimented Ashford side who are 2 divisions above.
All I can say is we stole the show today
Work rate was 100%
Team work was 100%
Just makes me as a coach so proud to be part of something like this.
Final score: 1-2 to the Sandgate
Goals : Jordan , JJ
Player of the match: Daniel ðŸ†For doing his job correctly and not giving their danger man a sniff and keeping him quiet

After observing a minutes silence, the U14 Colts played in the County Trophy this morning at Spartans FC. Again we got off to a very slow start conceding within a minute. 🤦♂ It took a few more chances falling to our opponents before we sparked into life. The turning point was Cody making a great penalty save, then Adam C became the saviour of our first half getting a hat trick before the break.
The second half saw us extend our lead through Adam Y with a spectacular strike. Our hosts pulled one back before Finley scored directly from a corner.
A second penalty was awarded to our hosts who converted it this time which gave them a boost for the last 5 minutes. They grabbed a last minute consolation with the game finishing with Sandgate coming out 4-5 winners.
A really disappointing performance from the boys to day where we should have scored at least 4-5 more goals with the chances created and conceded less as several were through individual/team errors on our part.
Goals - Adam C (3), Adam Y, Finley
Man of the match - Cody for a great penalty save, some positive distribution, and fantastic catches to keep us in the game early on.
