With the storms in full flow, rain and wind caused most of this weekend's fixtures to be called off - three survived though, so read on to see how they got on:
U12 whites beat St James today 2 - 0 in Chiltern Church League game. 2 x late goals secured a nice win. Very good performance again from the team. This team is growing and getting stronger each game. The boys played really well today with some beautiful football but just struggled to score. They managed to stop the othet team playing any kind of football or allow them more than 2 shots all game.

Player of the match - Tajveer - Played very well. Got a nice assist for the second goal and pretty much every pass he played was spot on and really helped to win the game after coming on at half time. Really built on the other midfielders good performance in the first half.

U12Colts game went ahead, away at Whitton.
This was a cracker of a tie last time, and didn’t disappoint today either!
The boys started strong and Marco netted a brace to give us a 2-0 lead, both from open play, assists from JT, and then Mo winning the ball in midfield. Whitton battled back and the play flowed from end to end, with Marco getting a third just before the break with an impressive lob of the keeper, after Mason played him through.
We went into half time 3-3. Whitton then took the lead for the first time but we soon came back with Marco’s fourth, chasing down a spill from the GK. He didn’t stop there though and bagged the winner with 5 mins to go after some nice passing play from Gurveer and Charlie on the right.
Great 5-4 win and has really boosted the boys’ confidence.
Great teamwork and effort from everyone and they really deserved the win today.
With 5 goals PoTM was a bit of a foregone conclusion for Marco, however two other lads worthy of a mention, Gurveer, only been playing with us a couple of weeks and was very effective on the wing, and DJ was solid and consistent in defence. Riley made some great saves today to keep the scores in our favour.

U14s played Richmond and Kew away
We made hard work of this game today
Having 6 players out and no CBs we knew today was honing to be hard
Beating them 11-0 in our first meeting was a totally different game today.
We conceded a sloppy goal from a cross which there player was poorly marked and was nodded past our keeper quite easily.
After an earbashing at half time and change formation and moved a few players round we soon found our feet
A sloppy kick from their keeper fell to JJs feet who superbly lobbed the keeper with the outside of his boot from quite a distance.
We soon took the lead with JJ again slotting into Krish’s path who took it past one defender to slot it past the keeper.
We need to be a lot better and stop lowering ourselfs to other teams levels.
