The U7s were away Vs Harefield Utd Black
We started the game asleep and found ourselves behind within 20seconds, this woke us up and we soon leveled then seconds later in front, the game was end to end with both Sandgate and Harefield Utd having plenty of chances but the football we played in spells of every quarter was second to none, Jay and Tioram could not be prouder 🙌ðŸ»

U7 Colts were away to Townmead Whites this weekend in what turned out to be a highly competitive game.
The Game started evenly with both teams defending well until a lapse in concentration from the Colts allowed Townmead through to score towards the end of the first quarter, Townmead were rallied by the goal and capitalised with another before we could regroup and recover.
A quick chat during the break woke the colts up, and we dominated play during the second quarter leading to Blake scoring his first goal for the club.
The second half of the game was evenly matched with not much separating the two teams.
There were several great performances from us today, so Player of the match was very close.
Managers Player of the Match: Toby- this week's captain really did live up to his role! Amazing performance in goal for the first 3 Quarters making some amazing saves and not being afraid to come off his line and take the ball off the opposition when needed, put his body on the line and unfortunately had to come out of goal after hurting his hand, came onto the pitch and got an Assist.
Parents Player of the Match: Blake- being the newest player in the squad Blake has adapted to the game incredibly well and his performance today proves this, playing in the middle of the park he was everywhere all at once, topped it off with a very deserved goal.

Today our U8’s played away to Singh Sabha Lionesses U8.
First time this season our mixed team has faced an all girls team.
With our Goalkeeper absent for today’s match, four of his teammates stepped up to have a 10 minute stint in goal each.
When the whistle blew we started strong, with Ivy getting a few good attempts at a goal. She was extremely unlucky not to have scored from any of them.
We persevered and as a result of some excellent passing we broke the deadlock with Leo L receiving the ball perfectly for him to deliver our first goal of the match.
From this point we continued to control the whole game.
We worked hard on passing and ball sharing in training yesterday and it was extremely pleasing to see the team put it into action today.
We started the second period just as we finished the 1st. Strong, in control and demonstrating some fantastic passing and link up play.
With goals coming in from Kenny, Theo & Kacie.
With a very strong lead over the game by the end of the second period I told the team that for the remaining two periods they were being challenged to not only stop the opposition from scoring but they had to try and make 3 passes before they attempted a shot at scoring a goal.
This saw Izzy get herself on the scoresheet in the third period followed up by Theo, who was by this point just scoring for fun and secured us more goals in the final period.
We walked away today with a very comfortable win

Player of the match this week was awarded to the whole team!
I couldn’t single anyone out, they all put in a shift, showed fantastic work ethic and demonstrated everything they have been learning.
At the end of the match I took a moment to speak with the Singh Sabha Lionesses, telling them to keep going and to continue to work hard. They are the only all girls team in our age group who week in and week out have faced teams of all boys and as a coach of a mixed team it was a refreshing experience for our team to play them.
Now we focus on next week where we head to our semi-final cup game.

Today U9 Colts played a friendly away to Feltham Fc U9'S
The game was set up last minute due to our league opponents not wanting to travel due to M25 closure.
1st quarter
We started the game strong, Dominating from the get go. Isaac playing a through ball to David and goal. Isaac again with a flick to Mathew and goal. Feltham managed to pull one back but the boys carried on and David from a corner kicked into the box hitting a Feltham player and flicked in, own goal. Comfortably up at the whistle.
2nd quarter
Started slow but we still dominated most of play and Onish got himself on the score sheet. David also got on the score sheet which I disallowed but after the game this goal was given due to kick in rules being confirmed. Then Gabriel added his name to the score sheet.
3rd quarter
This is where it got crazy with Sandgate completely going for a whitewash. Gabriel completing his hattrick , Mathew also completing his hattrick, Kulraj & Rehaan also adding to the lead.
4th quarter
Feltham was playing with 10 players on the field but our boys didn't want to stop I spoke to them to get some passing going which they did well but we gave a penalty away, which Feltham converted, The boys wanted to hit back and that's what they did, Isaac getting on the score sheet and then Raheis also scoreing a nicely worked goal.

MPOTM - Gabriel just ruthless and wins every ball, this boy doesn't get tired and when things aren't working he steps it up. Just brilliant and got his hattrick.

Mathew with great determination to score and getting some brilliant defensive work in the last quarter. Raheis pure strength in defence all game last quarter I changed it up by throwing him in midfield and he didn't disappoint he used strength, looked for the rights passes, took players on and managed to get himself on the score sheet.

U10 Colts played at home today to Maidenhead Warriors. We changed the way we play today by doing 4 quarters instead of our normal 2 halves. It was mainly to give an equal amount of minutes to all players in the team. First quarter we conceded goals and were down.
Second quarter we changed some players and managed to control the game again and not letting the away team score a goal, our attacking players are missing a lot of chances to score.
Third quarter changing players again but this time getting really close to scoring but the control is not there and conceding more goals.
The final quarter I put on our best performing players and moved some of the other players into other positions to try and score which worked, and we scored 2 consolation goals.

Really good play today against a team who beat us 7-0 a few months ago, it really shows how far we have come as a team it’s great to see and we’re getting the results we deserve we have a great team and really looking forward to the remaining league games and next season when we going 11aisde

U12 reds disappointingly drew 1 - 1 vs Alexandra Utd in our last game of the season. A win would have seen the team win the league but unfortunately one too many draws now gives the chance for Alexandra to beat us to 1st place. Its a shame as the team finish unbeaten in the league.
Some learning to do but good progress for this team this season.

U12 Colts played a friendly against Shooters FC in Basingstoke today.
Lovely game with both teams getting stuck in, playing some great football and creating plenty of chances.
We were caught straight down the middle to find ourselves 1-0 down at the break.
Shooters took their chances better then we did today and found themselves 3-0, but the colts never give up, and their hard work was rewarded with a consolation goal from Jas, following a great passing move from Arif to Mason to Charlie to Mason to Jas.
We had chances to level the game with Charlie, Jas, Arif and Mo all coming close. Final score 3-1 to Shooters FC.
A great game, played with great sportsmanship. The oppo manager and the ref both complimented the team on their work rate and team play- which is always nice to hear! Well done lads ðŸ‘
PotM could have gone to several lads today, Charlie and Arif both had good games, but this weeks award went to Mo for his solid defending, physicality in the middle of the pitch, quick feet and great through balls.

U13’s played another double header away at Corinthian Casuals
We started the first game really well, playing some great football and took an early lead from a great team move. Unfortunately a lack of concentration let them almost score from the kick off making it 1-1 however we consistently pressed and got another 3 before half time, second half was much the same, great team play and vision all over the pitch. A lack of concentration again allowed them a couple of consolation goals but we went on to comfortably win 10-3

U14s vs Southall athletic at Home
As I’ve said for a long long time now me and Billy are so proud of this team and where they have come from.
When times were hard we stuck at it and dug in. Week after week they show hard work and commitment.
I knew we had it in us to be one of the best teams out there and a team to beat , today showed.
After last weeks loss we shone today.
We knew it was gonna be a tough game as it always is against Southall athletic
It really was a game of two half’s
We were excellent from the start
Going 1-0 in the first half from an exceptional through ball from our captain Jude to fall perfectly at the feet of JJ who finished superbly.
Second half we let them in a little with Southall pushing for an equaliser which they did from a little bit of miscommunication from our defence and goalie let Southall score.
I was thinking about penalty’s as the game was ending with 3 minutes to go
So made a few subs
We then won a free kick from just inside the Southall half and who else to take it JJ
Steps up and perfectly hits the ball which hits the cross bar and bounces behind the line

The U14 Colts made the away trip to Claygate Royals this morning, we arrived to a great quality pitch which was nice after having had some not-so-great away pitches recently and no home games in 2 months!
We got off to a good start looking the dominant team. Rohan gave us the lead following some good individual play, Jad extended our lead to two soon after picking up a loose ball and placing it in the back of the net. Adam extended our lead before half time and we went into the break 0-3 up. We'd played some good passing football and when we played with just 1 or 2 touches, we were creating chances at will. We could easily have gone in with a bigger lead had we been more composed in our finishing.
Our chat at the break focused on the need to continue the positive football and be more clinical in finishing the chances we were creating. Unfortunately the boys came the opposite of what we needed and gifted our hosts a goal following some lazy play out from the back caught us off-guard when they converted a well spotted opportunity to have a go from near the halfway line.
It took another 10 mins for us to get back into the second half but our opponents never really threatened our goal again. Once back in our rhythm we were creating all the chances again - Adam completed his hat trick and Ryleigh worked hard to get on the score sheet for us to run out 1-6 winners. Another 3 points sees us return to second in the table still with 3 games in hand over the league leaders.

Man of the match - There were several great individual performances that could have earned MotM today (Adam Y solid at centre back, Kaiden with a few assists at left-back, Adam C for another hat trick, Ryleigh for a hard-working performance creating and scoring a goal) but Rohan had a consistently good performance on the left wing and topped it with another goal.
