A few games fell foul to the weather, but much more action this week. Huge shout out to Ryden in the U10s who played his socks off scoring two goals which he dedicated to his grandad who very sadly passed away that weekend. Our thoughts are with Ryden and all his family at this difficult time.

Under 8’s played away against Sporttiers FC U8’s this morning.
We had a 9:30am KO and the rain turned up right on que!
A strong and physical team we’ve previously played and lost against twice before. Unfortunately today was no different.
We didn’t get off to a strong start this morning with 3 goals being conceded within the first 5 minutes.
That being said, the team kept on battling and opportunities were created but execution didn’t follow.
Theo took a fantastic shot off of an interception but it was shy of the net and instead rattled off the cross bar.
As the game progressed the team showed improvement after their slow start but they couldn’t close the gap.
Despite Kenny receiving a pretty nasty tackle which wasn’t penalised, our team continued to play the right way.
The game finished up a comfortable win to Sporttiers. This was another game where in the end the result didn’t match up with the game played and the goal difference should have been less. The 4th period really saw the team demonstrate what they can do as a team, it was unfortunately a little too late for today.

Player of the Match was awarded to Kenny for his all round determination and getting back out there after the above mentioned tackle.

U9s Reds - 10 players turned up for the Feltham U9s friendly match at Feltham Rugby Club. The game started slowly for us, with the opposition scoring the opening goal. However, our boys displayed great determination and fought back, with Caleb scoring a brilliant equalizer.
The opposition responded quickly, regaining the lead with another goal. But once again, our team showed resilience, with Timothy finding the back of the net to level the game.
The match ended in a hard-fought draw, but unfortunately, we lost in the penalty shootout

U9 Colts travelled to Kew park rangers (KPR) to play their U9 Reds.
We started the game with only 6 players whilst the others were lost looking for the location.
We started and played the 3½ quarters with only 6 players and what a performance the boys put in.
1st quarter - We took the lead in the first minute of the game with a goal from David. We dominated play. KPR managed to catch us on a break and slotted their equaliser in which saw our motivation go.
2nd quarter - Was was again a game full of domination from us but didn't find the back of the net.
3rd quarter - Speaking to the boys at half time I asked them to concentrate on the passing play and not individual play and they executed it perfectly. Gabriel being played in by Ihaan to take the lead, then David almost repeating play with Gabriel getting Gabriel on the score sheet again. David then scored a 4th
4th quarter - The boys kept their momentum going dominating play and closing down any threat andoving the play quick to catch our opposition out. Onish arrived with Rehaan and both went on straight away giving us total of 7 players and it was seconds before Onish got the ball from Rehaan to his feet and blasted it to the back of the net. Mathew then scored a beautiful goal play created by David. The opponents were then given few extra minutes by the ref to try and score which saw their whole team push up and our 6 original players were shattered by then that Onish and Rehaan couldn't track back fast enough and they pulled a goal back. A great win for our boys, who played their hearts out and left everything on the pitch.
Managers POTM- Gabriel outstanding performance today, complete machine and the engine on him he was non stop up and down the pitch also scoring to great goals.
Parents POTM - Jasraj - pulled off some outstanding saves to keep the hosts at bay and saw the players in space got the ball moving quick to give us the advantage.

U10s beat Richmond and Kew finally after two recent 4-3 losses to them this season.
From 3-2 down at halftime to an all mighty fight back to win convincingly…. the boys finally broke them!
To a man they all fought for the shirt Today , Richmond & Kew are a very good team and produced a lot of dangerous moments throughout, in the fourth quarter Ralphy turned into Raya and channeled his inner Neo from the matrix.
Teamwork to track up and down the pitch was excellent from the team today, pressing for the ball throughout.
PotM - Danny Lee for his back to back excellent weeks up top , his hold up play followed by goals at critical moments to keep the boys in it really settled the team.
And on and on the Sandgate U10s Train Goes….!!!
To add to our match report, one of our players Ryden has been struggling a lot recently with his grandad being very ill, you would never have noticed because he is incredibly strong and has been smiling and bringing positive energy throughout. He managed to score 2 of our goals yesterday and dedicated them to his grandad who unfortunately passed that morning. We’re sure his grandad is incredibly proud and will be cheering him on and able to watch all of his games from a better place.

U11s were away against Singh Sabha FC
A slow start and more issues with defending corners saw us conceded early on. An absolute screamer by Samrath brought us back to being level a few minutes later. Another slow start after half time allowed our opposition to score within 30 seconds. This set the tone for the second half as it was end to end with both teams continuing to score.
POTM: Robyn & Samrath who both put in absolute shift and covered every blade of grass not to mention both getting on the score sheet and getting assists too.

Big challenges today we ended up playing today 9v9 on a 11 aside pitch with just the one sub but managed to get the 3 points
Pitch wasn’t great, half marked in blue and half in white with 2x 7aside pitch through it confused the boys quite a bit
A lot of great performances today, but man of the Match goes to Johnny , who made some great saves after being out for 4 weeks with a broken elbow, which really kept us in the game ðŸ†âš½

U12 Reds lost 3 - 1 in county cup game vs NPL Comets.
It was another great performance from the Reds against a very good NPL side. So pleased with how well they all played and the work rate and effort in very muddy conditions.

Player of the match - Archie & Daniel B today - Absolute rocks in defence and midfield. Really good leaders for the team and perform consistently well every week but stepped up against a strong team today.

U12Colts were away at Kew Park Rangers, a bottom of the Div 7 clash.
The boys started well, they were fired up and ready to go this week.
We were solid in defence, with Riley having very little to do in goal, and we Created several chances at the other end, but final touch in front of goal let us down. Then we had a poss penalty denied, went into the break 0-0.
Second half was much the same, the boys worked hard and continued to find space but just couldn’t get an early shot away, or find that final link up pass.
It was destined to be one of those games where a single goal would snatch it, and alas, it went to Kew. A counter attack caught the defense out and they scored with a soft goal.
The boys were understandably frustrated, but we are proud of the work rate and the continued drive to build that passing link up play and goal scoring opportunities.
Each week is good progress, and we’ll take that all into next week’s game!

U12 whites lost 2 - 1 to Stanmore Jaffreys in the Chiltern Church Cup today.
Unfortunate result but lots of lessons to be learned for the team and very pleased with the team development this season so far. A good game (especially the first half) - The team was unlucky to be 1 nil down from a pen but did well to get the equaliser. Should have scored more and got caught on the break for the second goal. All round good performance football wise.

U14 Colts played West Drayton Youth this morning in the Middlesex County Trophy.
We got off to a bright start in miserable conditions playing well and dominating the game. A super bit of football 10 mins in saw us move the ball from our goal kick to Adam slotting the ball into the back of their net within 15 seconds - exactly what we’ve been working on in training.
Unfortunately, that was the highlight of our morning as the boys then switched off for 60 minutes being extremely lucky to only be 3-1 down at half time.
At 4-1 down with just over 5 mins to play some of the boys started to wake up and play and the game was end to end. Adam secured a hat trick but it was too little too late with the final score 5-3 to our hosts.
Sadly the boys performance today got the result it deserved seeing them crash out of the competition with no real fight. Disappointing day at the office for the boys today. Hope they show more determination in our league cup game in a few weeks time.
