Sadly after a week of downpours, all the home games at Bourne Farm were postponed. A few away games survived…….
Hurricane FC Gold vs U11 Colts
With only nine players turning up this morning, I knew it was going to be a tough game. A number of the players looked half and we were punished for it, conceding several goals.
After a firm team talk at half time, the players were reminded that regardless of the first half, full effort was still required. The response was excellent. We made a change in goal, with Natan coming out and Aliakbar stepping in.
The difference was clear straight away. Our defensive players looked stronger and more organised, while our attackers became more threatening and created several good chances. We were rewarded when a free kick fell to Natan, who calmly placed the ball into the net.
Despite a vastly improved second half, Final result, Sandgate loss.

Complete mud bath of a pitch and very close first half ending 2-2 goals from Ruben and Marco
We come out of the second half flying dominating the play against a team in the conference with the final score 5-2 to Sandgate ��⚽️
Just shows we can compete in the higher divisions
Special mention to Nelson was unreal today but man of the Match goes to the whole team and everyone gave 100%

U14 Reds played away to Esher Reds. We dominated the first half and led 4-0 at half time thanks to a goal from Jenson and a hat trick from Ibby.
Second half Esher improved and we slightly took our foot off the gas. Game ended 5-1 with a goal from Rahil.
MoM fo his hat trick was Ibby who was unplayable in the first half
