Sandgate U9 vs Slough Town Stags
We were away this morning with a nice early kickoff, the team were fired up and looking forward to the game as we were playing against a old player of ours
Both teams started a little slow and scrappy, but we managed to get on the front foot and get on the scoresheet, Slough Town managed to bring the score level not long after.
Sandgate found their rhythm and we got going again adding a few more goals, although creating more chances but just couldn’t make them count, the game became scrappy again with both sides fighting for the ball but still both created chances and adding goals, the final quarter saw Slough wake up and Sandgate fall asleep a little with adding to their scoreline however Sandgate saw the game out.
Sandgate coming away with the win. Huge respect and well done to Slough Town Stags, all the best for the rest of the season

The colts finished up winners today with a great team performance playing with their hearts on their sleeves fighting for every ball and covering every blade of grass. Its days like today that remind you of the reason why you chose to be a coach. Super proud of all the kids.

Sandgate u10s played home to Delaford Colts.
Delaford started well and manage to get an early goal and where playing some really nice football, we tried to battle back and get some control of the game which resulted in a freekick being awarded to them, freekick taken and was an absolute rocket from outside the box.
Second half after our team talk we again tried to take some control but they scored another rocket freekick from outside the box. Delaford then scored a brilliant team goal, im sure every player had an involvement. 0-4 Delaford.
Instead of giving up the game then changed, Izzy put the ball in the box and Milad chipped it over the keeper getting us our first goal with 15mins left.
We needed that goal as the players mentality then changed, they battled hard for everything and didnt alow Delaford to get going again.
Kenny won a penalty, then Delaford keeper spilled the ball but Milad was straight in to get his 2nd!
With minutes to go Izzy scored a brilliant goal top bins to make it a score draw.
Well done today team! They didnt give up even though the game seemed like it was gone and we take the draw! Great ending to the game!
Potm went to Izzy worked super hard today and scored the equalising goal with minutes to spare! Well done!

The U10 Colts played away to Harefield blacks this morning.
We started well as we have been doing but unfortunately it didn’t last today. Harefield got their first goal with a deflection off of one of their own players.
You could see that some were disheartened but they kept on battling.
We’re call today a bad day at the office, many silly errors made. It was like a completely different team out there today.
At halftime after some guidance in the team talk, they got back out there but just couldn’t find their way back today.
But we move onto the next one.
Harefield win.
POTM was awarded to our new signing Logan G his first game with us he gave an impressive performance.

U11Reds played Away against Redcore.
We had a full squad there today. No excuses The offense wasn't working as a team today. We need more training for sure. The passing was absent . The first half we held them to no goals.
Some missed opportunities . Score at the half as a scoreless draw.
The second half started pretty much the same as the first. Not really looking for the open man . We had a few lapses in defense and Redcore scored. With about 5 minutes left Ihanachu dribbled and put one in to level the scores.
Offensive player of the game: Mathew
Defensive Player of the game: Henry

London Tigers Reds vs U12 Colts
A tactical adjustment and refined off the ball movement allowed us to dominate the first half completely, establishing a commanding 0-5 lead at the break.
With our goalkeeper virtually untested in the opening period, we rotated him into the defensive line for the second half. Holding a comfortable advantage, we managed the remainder of the game professionally by maintaining possession and sustaining pressure. We capped off the victory when Hussain clinically converted a penalty. Overall, this was our most complete and impressive performance of the season to date.
Full Time 0-6

U14s played Hayes rangers in the Middlesex cup.. got early goal from Ollie. 1-1 halftime can back out in to the second half slow they got a goal 1-2 but we bounced back straight away with a Lovley ball from Ollie to Wayne Albert that it took well 2-2. Completely stepped off it allowing them to score 2 quick goals 2-4 which came from players not following there runners.
Potm Jacob and Louie played brilliantly at the back

The u15 girls kept their 100% league winning streak going with a hard fought 3-1 victory over Caversham Swans. The Swans went undefeated last season in division 3 and were not used to playing a team with the quality possessed by the Sandgate girls and as frustration mounted, they resorted to fouls and off the ball assaults, the game resembled a rugby match rather than a game of grass roots football and we ended the game with one of our girls leaving the pitch with a fractured arm.
However our girls stood up to the intimidation and bullying tactics, with our football doing the talking and us leaving with a well earned and valuable 3 points.

U15’s played Raynes Park vale
We started the game well, was really evenly matched and although had the better chances went in 0-0 at half time.
Second half we came out strong again, Hussein putting in a fabulous cross into the box which saw Casey taken out and a penalty awarded.
Casey neatly put the penalty away putting us on the front foot. The game then went a bit stale, neither teams creating much.
We made some changes and saw Tommy neatly free Yuvi who took on his man 1-1 and beat him before neatly tucking away a beautiful left foot goal.
We saw out the game finishing 2-0 winners.
