A few games fell foul to the weather, but great to see so many home games going ahead thanks to the great work the team have done on the improving the draining works. Read on for all the action......
Sandgate U8’s were away to Holyport Knights this morning in by far the most enjoyable game I’ve watched
Both teams started strong trying to get on the ball but pretty much cancelling each other out to start but it was Sandgate with the better chances and taking advantage and getting on the scoresheet, Holyport replied almost instantly with a worldie shot
This game was full of goals, Sandgate score Holyport score that’s pretty much how the game was for the 1st 3 quarters,
We managed to get a grip of the game in the 4th quarter and add to our score line, all credit to Holyport and Sandgate as both teams battled and never gave up trying the whole game,

Our U9’s played Taplow Utd Clarets away today.
The team were fired up and ready to go this morning and started strong however, it was our opposition who got the first goal.
We kept our heads high and continued to battle but the first half just didn’t go our way despite their efforts.
The second half saw them come out even more determined to get on the scoreboard and they did just that. First up Haashir sunk a beautiful rebound ball which gave them all a bit of extra fire in their belly.
This half showed some great link ups being played and the communication was becoming better and better as the minutes ticked by.
Our second goal came from Leo L and then Kenny followed up with our third and final one.
Shea pulled off some outstanding saves today demonstrating some real confidence he was also assisted by Kacie in an outstanding display when it just brushed past him and in that split second Kacie decided to drop and slide across the goal line deflecting the shot away.
We finished up losing but although we didn’t get on the score sheet in the first half we made up for it by winning the second half.
But this week our stand out player and very deserving winner of Player of the Match went to Leo B.
He was on it all game, determined and demonstrating everything that was asked of him.
The growth and confidence from when he joined us mid season last year to now is fantastic.

U10Reds played Slough Town.
It was a rough one today. We were outclassed and out worked the whole match. Our poor practice sessions carried over to the game. We couldn't advance the ball past midfield and our defensive intensity was not present. Lots of work to do.
Our Goalkeeper Timothy stood out today with lots of difficult saves.
Slough Town with a comfortable win.

U11 Colts away to 4FuturePro
We started the 1st half really well, the boys controlled the game and our goalkeeper (Natan) made two important saves to keep the game levelled at 0-0. We scored goals through ilyas and Mohammed before half time which was well deserved.
The 2nd half we changed our goalkeeper and one other player which back fired, within 10 minutes we conceded goals due to the defence becoming complacent and our goalkeeper's reflexes too slow, they were gifted goals rather than earned goals. We managed to score more goals through Mohammed, but it was not enough to win the game due to us conceding more goals. Final result Sandgate loss.

Sandgate U11, Beat Corinthian casuals. We were absolutely superb. They went 1-0 up early then barely left their half. Only negative being they should have scored a lot more.

U13s played cheam at home after loosing 3-0 away to them last week
We starting the game very well with a quick goal from Wayne in the first 5 mins. The work we have been doing in training has paid off as every player put a shift in today and see us win the game 4-2 ⚽️����
Puts us back at the top of the table with a massive game next week at home v Sutton next week who are currently 2nd ⚽️����

U13 Colts away at Claygate was called off due to waterlogged pitches.

U14 Reds played at home to Nork Park. We were up against it today with only 11 players and no goalkeeper due to illness and injuries. The boys battled well and gave their all to the whole game and despite players playing out of position they came away with a 2-1 win!
Both goals coming from captain Jenson who led the line by example today.
