Tournament Time- one week to go!

With just a week to go, we can't wait to open the gates for our annual tournament. Our volunteer team have been busy preparing the club and our playing fields, and we think you'll agree, they are in great condition for a wonderful weekend of football. Our tournament continues to be one of the biggest and best in West London and we pride ourselves on making this a fun and enjoyable experience for all that attend.  
 

Please have a read through of some of the guidance and tournament rules. 

REGISTRATION: The Player REGISTRATION Team sheet MUST be completed and handed in at the Control tent upon arrival. 

In case of a dispute, Managers will need to have proof of age (current registration cards or passport), for each player. Birth certificates cannot be used a form of ID. All players must also be registered on the whole Game System. Please be aware if you do not have proof of age for a player, they will not be able to play and you will forfeit any games they have taken part in. You have been warned!  A managers meeting will be held prior to your matches starting.   

NO ACADEMY PLAYERS ARE ALLOWED, THIS IS A GENUINE GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT, DON’T SPOIL IT!

We also ask that each team have a change of shirts (if possible), and an appropriate size match ball for their age group. 

SQUAD SIZE: A maximum of nine players per squad. 

TOURNAMENT RULES: Please refer to your managers guide for the rules of play.    

TOURNAMENT APP: we use Tournify to track results through the day.  

MATCH TIMES: we need to adhere strictly to these times to ensure a smooth-running tournament.Teams that are late will forfeit games, and the points for that game, so please arrive with time to spare to find your way around. 

ENTRY FEE ON THE DAY: Entry to the tournament for all adults will be £4.00 (cash or card) this includes all Managers. Manager will be issued a £4 food voucher when they register their team and players. All Players and siblings/other U16 children are free. 

CODE OF CONDUCT: Please ensure all players, parents & spectators adhere to the FA & club rules regarding behaviour on and off the pitch. We will have RESPECT Marshalls monitoring behaviour throughout the day. It is the responsibility of each team manager and parents to monitor the behaviour of people under their care, to ensure a good, well-mannered event. Teams will be disqualified for persistent abuse or misconduct. 

All spectators, managers, and non-competing players are asked to stand one metre back from the side lines of the pitch to allow clear visibility for the officials and players. 

PERSONAL POSSESSIONS: Team managers and parents are advised to ensure the safe custody of all personal possessions and valuables, as the tournament organisers cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage. Do not leave valuables in cars or unattended on the fields. Please ensure that all items are clearly marked with the team’s name, especially footballs. 

DOGS: In the interest of safety and welfare and the number of people on site over the weekend, Dogs are not welcome at the tournament and will not be allowed on site. Please do not put us in an awkward position of refusing entry.  

REFRESHMENTS: Hot and cold food, sweets, drinks, and a BBQ will be available on both days. There will also be an ice cream van.  

ALCOHOL is not allowed at this event.
