Sandgate Drainage Works
Further works to our pitches have been carried out this week to try and solve our drainage issues. Works started on Thursday with pilot holes being drilled down to a depth of 1m. Then compressed air was force into the ground to break up the sub soil. Seaweed is then injected into the sub soil to aid the drainage. On Saturday the bore holes were infilled with a granular material by an army of volunteers.
