Sandgate under 17's completed the League and Cup DOUBLE without even getting out of bed on Sunday.
The club found out on Friday that Guildford would not be able to complete the fixture, so the celebration started early.
The team was told the news at training on Saturday morning.
Manager Turnbull (43) said ‘This was not how we wanted to win title, but after a hard season we were by far the best team. To complete the season without a loss shows how hard my boys have worked’.

On Sunday DWMT (DOUBLE WINNING MANAGER TURBULL) was seen back at Sandgate casting his eye over the other Sandgate matches that morning. ‘It seem strange not having a game he said I’ve even had to go to the market this morning, and you know how much I hate that’

With their final game of the season against Walton and Hersham now in doubt, the boys are trying to set-up a fixture verses the Sandgate managers.
