The club has fully engaged with the police and the FA to provide assistance with their investigation into the sexaul assault by Carl Wright.
Mr Wright has never been employed or engaged as a coach at Sandgate FC.
As a club, we take our safeguarding obligations very seriously and we have in place appropriate and up to date policies and procedures in order to ensure that we are meeting those obligations.
Our thoughts are with the family at this time and the club have and will continue to do everything we can to support them.
